David Fitz

Founder & Partner

David Fitz is the founder and partner of SDP, bringing nearly 25 years experience in strategy and communications planning, development, and execution. Prior to founding SDP, David worked in leadership positions for a Philadelphia City Councilperson, Cleveland Mayor, the Cleveland Clinic, and University Circle Inc.

David has a master’s degree in public administration from University of Pennsylvania and a bachelor’s degree from John Carroll University.

Michael Graham

Partner

Michael is a partner and co-owner of SDP with more than two decades of consulting experience. Michael’s practice centers on the nonprofit and public sectors, with areas of focus including: strategic planning, organizational development, executive positioning, messaging & communications, and nonprofit governance & mergers. Prior to SDP, Michael served as an Assistant Prosecuting Attorney in the Cuyahoga County Prosecutor’s Office Major Trial Unit. Outside SDP, Michael acts as chair for the City of Cleveland’s Civilian Police Review Board. He also serves on the board of directors for Hawken School. Michael earned bachelor’s and master’s degrees in English from John Carroll University, and later studied at Cleveland State University, completing a master’s in urban planning at Levin College and a JD at Cleveland-Marshall College of Law.

Erika McLaughlin

Sr. Director of Strategy & Communications

Erika McLaughlin is senior director of strategy and communications for SDP and has 20 years of experience working in the nonprofit and private sectors. Her consulting expertise includes strategic planning,  media relations, crisis communications, content creation, and overall strategic communications planning and execution.  She holds a bachelor’s degree from Ohio University and a master’s degree from Kent State University, where she is also a member of adjunct faculty.  Outside of SDP, Erika serves on the board of Merrick House.

Brant Duda

Director of Strategy & Analysis

Brant Duda is director of strategy and analysis for SDP and brings over six years of expertise in strategic planning, financial analysis, nonprofit governance and board development, and research. From helping to transform the social service system in Columbia, South Carolina to managing a coalition combating the opioid epidemic in Lorain County, Ohio to forming the first Center for the Arts in Oberlin, Ohio, Brant has worked on large-scale projects and with organizations that impact entire communities. Brant has a masters of social administration and certificate in nonprofit management from Case Western Reserve University. He earned his bachelor’s degree from California University of Pennsylvania.

Ann Zoller

Senior Advisor

Ann Zoller is a Senior Advisor with SDP, working in partnership with the firm on select clients. Ann is an award-winning nonprofit and public-sector leader who focuses her work on helping clients engage in deep strategic thinking that results in transformative change. She previously served as Executive Director of LAND studio (formerly ParkWorks) for two decades, where her signature achievement was the $50 million redesign, rebuild, and revelation of Cleveland's downtown Public Square. Ann brings nearly 30 years of high level experience in strategic thinking, organizational development, executive coaching, consensus building, operations management, fund development, and passionate advocacy and communication to her consulting work.
