Formed nearly 40 years ago, the Cleveland Tenants Organization (CTO) has been the region’s only organization dedicated to helping tenant and landlords understand and benefit from their rights under the law.
A transition in leadership created an opportunity for the board and staff to develop a new strategic plan. SDP managed the process, including conducting regular meetings with a steering committee, interviewing stakeholders throughout the region, facilitating a board retreat, and completing a strategic plan and action plan to guide the organization moving forward.
The CTO strategic planning process is just one highlight of our work in this area. We have worked with many organizations on strategic planning, including Providence House, Detroit Shoreway Community Development Organization, the Domestic Violence & Child Advocacy Center, Urban Community School, and Tremont West Development Corporation.
