We were selected to manage OCI’s strategic planning process, which included framing key issues, facilitating a steering committee of board and neighborhood stakeholders, engaging an unprecedented number of community members, and producing the organization’s final plan.
We conducted more than 20 one-on-one interviews, managed eight stakeholder focus groups, facilitated board and staff retreats, and surveyed more than 600 people in the community. That input helped drive the creation of a dynamic plan that connected OCI’s mission and message under four strategic pillars: People, Place, Promotion, and Policy.
The OCI strategic planning process is just one highlight of our work in this area. We have worked with many organizations on strategic planning, including Cleveland Tenants Organization, Providence House, Detroit Shoreway Community Development Organization, the Domestic Violence & Child Advocacy Center, Urban Community School, and Tremont West Development Corporation.
